Job Details
Technical Project Manager
Job Description-
- Work with internal or external stakeholders to elicit requirements, understand business needs and operations, product/project applicability
- Stakeholders include teams from robotics design, electronics and embedded, software
- Document and detail requirements of various components in the products –mechanical/robotics, electrical, embedded, software, artificial intelligence/machine learning
- Coordinate between different teams to understand impact and dependencies of different components
- Help find the optimal interactions and coordination to ensure product/project components will work well together
- Enable deliveries through processes and cross functional communication
- Enable reviews and inculcate best practices and design thinking
- Coordinate with procurement and sourcing teams along with the respective stakeholders
- Participate in product verification, solicit feedback to ensure the objectives are met
- Prepare for deployments and releases
- Task tracking in Jira, follow Scrum/Agile for software components
- Status reporting, risk assessment, resource assignment, estimates and scheduling, timelines, milestone reviews
Skills
- Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to connect multivariate components into one coherent and functional product or project especially for IIOT, Robotics projects/products
- Skilled at project management/tracking, documentation, good background in Scrum/Agile methodologies for software project management
- Excellent skills in tools such as MS-Word, MS-Excel, Jira or other project management tools, designer tools
- Understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning concepts will be an advantage
- Understanding of Supply Chain Domain, Robotics and Automation will be an added advantage.
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technology,
- MBA in any one of Robotics and Automation, Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or IT/CS
